The size seems to run true all except for the midsection is too narrow. It vents great as expected and all the other features are fine.

Jacket is holding up well so far. Has kept my son dry in light rain. Haven't tried it in heavy rain yet. Nice for cold mornings and sleeves come off for more cooling as temp comes up.

By far the best jacket I have worn. Sizes do run a bit larger, but made to wear thin padding underneath. The styling is outstanding, the comfort is a bit stiff but should wear in over a season.

I was needing a jacket for our hot summers here in the Midwest. I researched every price range of jacket and finally settled on the Klim Baja. Don't let the price tag detour you. The quality is exceptional and if the day comes I find myself on the asphalt the money will be well spent. As far as the fit goes I wear large to extra large in jackets, I ordered a large and I have enough room for a sweatshirt on cool mornings. The sleeves are a little long but I'm sure that is by design for added protection if ever needed. If you are looking for a hot weather jacket that is well built and well designed this is it. Oh ya, it looks cool and is guaranteed to turn heads

Overall, I'm very pleased with my new Rev'it Sand 4 jacket. I'm 5' 8", 190 lbs, 44 jacket size and the size XL fit me perfectly. It's comfortable with no stiffness, good-looking, and the build quality is first-rate. The zippers are the best I've ever had on a motorcycle jacket with easy, gloves-on, one-handed, opening and closing of arm and chest vents. On-the-fly airflow adjustments are very convenient. The jacket does a good job with a wide range of temperatures, I'd say the out-of-box comfort range of about 45-85F and, furthermore, with a bit of supplemental gear, it will work at much lower temperatures. As others have reported, although the rain layer is designed to be worn under the jacket, it can easily go on over the jacket. The rain layer fits in the rabbit pouch, it's okay but it makes a big lump back there. Aesthetically, I could do without all the attachment points for the neck brace, they seem unnecessary on the Sand 4. There is, in my opinion, a design flaw with the secondary zipper center vent. Although I appreciate the extra airflow from the center vent, I won't be using it because it leaves the main zipper ends exposed too the gas tank creating a serious scratch risk. Or maybe I'll put a tank pad on and use it anyway. Other than those few nits, the Sand 4 is about perfect for me. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This jacket has less cons than pros. The top of the zipper on the forearm does dig in a bit when it is new, however when it breaks in doesn't as much. The pull tabs are hard to hang onto with gloves on, simple solution was parachuted with shrink tube to make them easier to grab. Now the pros, it's one jacket one layer waterproof. The armor comes in and out very easily when you need to wash the jacket. I was between sizes so I went up in size in order to wear my heated jacket. The jacket can easily be pulled down tighter when I am not wearing a base or mid layer. So far in the cold weather this jacket is better than my previous jacket which was a 800 dollar range jacket. Overall best bang for the buck!
